No miracle promises. No "hangover cure" theatrics. Just one ingredient, dosed where the science points, priced where it should be.
Hovenia is built around 1,000 mg of dihydromyricetin (DHM) per serving — the dose used in clinical research, not the 300 mg budget version. Pure DHM. Vegan capsule. Nothing else.
We started Hovenia because every recovery supplement we tried fell into one of two camps. Either it was a $3-a-serving premium brand padded out with sugar and licensing fees, or it was a $0.30 commodity at a clinically irrelevant dose. There was no honest middle.
So we built it. $1 a serving. Same dose as the premium brands. Same third-party testing. Same GMP-certified manufacturing. Different price because we're a lean direct-to-consumer brand without a Shark Tank licensing deal or retail-aisle markup.
What we won't say.
Hovenia does not cure, treat, or prevent hangovers. The FDA wouldn't let us claim that even if we wanted to — they've sent warning letters to companies for using exactly that language. What Hovenia does support, per the research, is your liver's natural enzyme function and antioxidant pathways. The morning is up to you.
What we will say.
DHM is the most studied flavonoid in the recovery category. It's present in 47.8% of US recovery supplements (Sage Journals, 2025) — for good reason. We chose it because the evidence points there, dosed it where the evidence points, and stopped there.
